FORFATTERNE
Charles Ferro
When Charles Ferro was around nine years old, he asked his grandmother to take him to a movie made from an Edgar Allan Poe story. The film scared the daylights out of the young boy. He has loved stories about the supernatural ever since that day.
Charles was born in Utica, a small city in upstate New York where many of his books take place. He has been living in Copenhagen, Denmark for more than 30 years. Reading, fishing, golf and cooking are favorite pastimes, along with writing, which he considers to be relaxing and fun.
Charles says, "Writing is a lot of fun, but it's also challenging work. The fun part is being able to create a situation, putting people into it and making it believable. Ideas are everywhere, so the work part comes when I start to write the ideas down and turn them into a story."
